This is your one stop to obtain information on the role of EAS, procedures, and forms to request additional sessions. We appreciate the services you provide and thank you for choosing to be a provider with the Exclusive Care Health Plan.
Role of EAS
EAS manages all mental health and substance abuse benefits for Exclusive Care members. When an Exclusive Care member seeks mental health or substance abuse counseling or treatment, the member is initially assessed by an EAS clinician and matched with an Exclusive Care provider. It is important to note that all mental health and substance abuse services require pre-authorization by EAS. Once the member is referred, case management services begin, and cases are managed by an EAS licensed therapist. You will find the name of the case manager on all authorization forms. The case manager will be your personal point of contact.
Assisting you is one of our highest priorities. EAS offers case consultation at no charge. Discussion of your case in a confidential, professional manner is available to all providers. You will find the case manager knowledgeable about the culture of Riverside County and able to assist you with determining medical necessity, approve requests for ongoing visits and provide clinical feedback.
If the designated case manager is unavailable, another case manager in the EAS office will be available to help you.
